Our installation process
A lasting tile installation starts long before the first tile is set. We protect the space, correct the substrate, manage water properly and plan every line before installation begins.
Discuss your projectWe review the space, tile selection, drawings, transitions and finished details. The layout is planned around the room so cuts, grout lines, niches, drains and focal points look intentional.
Where removal is required, surrounding finishes are protected before old tile, mortar and damaged backing are taken out. Debris is controlled and the work area is kept organized.
Walls and floors are checked for flatness, strength and movement. We repair or replace unsuitable surfaces, level where needed and build shower slopes, curbs, benches and niches to the correct shape.
The appropriate uncoupling or waterproofing system is installed for the application. Seams, corners, penetrations, drains and wet-area transitions receive careful treatment before tile is installed.
Reference lines are established before setting begins. Tiles are cut, back-buttered where required and installed with the correct mortar, coverage, joint spacing and edge detail for the selected material and format.
After curing, joints are grouted and movement areas are finished with colour-matched sealant. The installation is cleaned, inspected and reviewed so the finished space is ready for the next trade or the client.
